I’m a great believer in keeping your mind constantly active. I also believe that no skill can ever be completely mastered. There are always new methods and new ways of thinking that emerge with each new generation. Keeping an open mind to these new methods is how we increase our own skill levels.
Even though I’m currently writing my own stories, I’m also enrolled on an online creative writing course as well as listening to lectures from established authors. I want to absorb all the knowledge about writing that I can in order to improve my skills, my methods and my mindset when I write.
Writing is a skill and a passion that I want to be constantly building and improving upon, while I am fully aware that it cannot be mastered.
If you’re not learning, you’re becoming stagnant and regressing.
